Ghanshyam Thori interacts with young entrepreneurs of Jalandhar

Gives clarion call to come up for unique initiatives for the betterment of the society

Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori today had an interaction with the Jalandhar Youth Organization, an organization of young entrepreneurs and invited them to come forward for new initiatives for the betterment of the society. Accompanied by Senior Consultant of DBIIP Stephen SJS, the Deputy Commissioner said that for the holistic welfare of the society there is a need for educated, energetic and young entrepreneurs who would contribute to the economic development of the district as well as work shoulder to shoulder with the administration for this noble cause. 

Mr. Thori lauded the interest shown by these young entrepreneurs in doing something unique for the welfare of the needy sections of the society and assured them of all possible help from the administration. Meanwhile, the DC highlighted the efforts being made for the entrepreneurs of the district adding that the District Bureau of Industry and Investment Promotion (DBIIP) has been set up to get the regulatory approvals from the ten major departments for early opening of new industries in Jalandhar. Besides, other relaxations are also being provided to new industries as a part of the state government’s initiative to promote investment in the state. On the occasion Mithuri Sood, Ashim Sondhi and other young entrepreneurs were also present.
