Weekly Block Diwas program held across designated locations in Doda district

DDC calls for quality disposal of public issues, hands over Domicile, Category certificates to beneficiaries

To ensure on the spot, quality and prompt disposal of public issues, the District Administration Doda, under the overall supervision of DDC Vikas Sharma, organised the Block diwas program at all designated locations across the district.The DDC participated in the program at Tehsil office Doda, besides other district and sectoral officers attended the program at the already designated locations assigned to them.The DDC handed over   Domicile, Category certificates and other revenue documents to the applicants on the spot. Besides, he directed all the officers to ensure prompt, quality and on the spot disposal of the feasible public issues. In addition to this he directed to follow the issues which are beyond their administrative control at the higher level for time bound disposal.

Meanwhile, similar meetings were held  at Revenue complex Thathri, BDO office Bhaderwah, BDO office Assar, and SDM office Gandoh, varied public services were provided to the beneficiaries and   grievances were resolved by the officers concerned on the spot.It was informed that as many as 73 domicile certificates, 11 category certificates, 33 revenue papers and 08 birth/death certificates were issued to the beneficiaries on spot. Besides, 15 ration cards were ADHAAR seeded, 13 families were covered under Ayushmaan Bharat scheme and 02 KCC were issued to the beneficiaries.

Moreover 95 applications/grievances were received during the day-long program across the district out of which 91 feasible public grievances were disposed of on the spot. Rest of the grievances was forwarded to the concerned quarters for time bound redressal.During the programs, the Nodal officers apprised the participants about AZAN portal, social Security schemes, SMAS and other ongoing developmental works and urged general public to take maximum advantage of these Govt schemes for their general welfare.BDC Chairpersons, DDC members, SDMs, Tehsildars, District/Sectoral officers, BDOs, besides representatives of various field offices were also present at their designated places during the program.
