Chairman DDC Kupwara reviews progress of works under RDD sector

The Chairman District Development Council (DDC) Kupwara, Irfan Sultan Panditpori today stressed upon the officers to ensure strict adherence to the timelines of different ongoing development works so that people at large could get benefitted under various Rural Development schemes.The Chairman DDC was addressing a joint meeting of Council Members and officers of Rural Development department, here today to review the progress of various Rural Development schemes in the district. Vice Chairman DDC, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir was also present in the meeting. 

On the occasion, the Chairman directed the officers for expediting the ongoing works under different RDD schemes in the district especially in border and far flung areas including Karnah, Keran, Machill, Jumgund and Kumkadi. He impressed upon them for proper awareness of Panchayati Raj Act (PRA) among the people to ensure all round development at grassroot level.Vice Chairman also spoke during the course of the meeting. Earlier, the concerned officers briefed the chair about the status of various ongoing developmental works under 14th F.C, MGNREGA, SBM, PMAY(R), B2V3 and other allied schemes.DDC Members, ACD Kupwara, BDOs and other concerned officers and officials attended the meeting.
