Separatist leader Yasin Malik has been found guilty by Delhi court on Thursday in the terror funding case

After some days Yasin Malik has accepted the charges of criminal conspiracy and terrorist activities and he has also accepted that he was involved in terrorist activities.

Guilty of (UAPA) unlawful activities prevention act- 

Yasin Malik has been convicted by the NIA Court in Delhi in a case related to terrorism and separatist activities in the Kashmir Valley in 2017. Yasin Malik has also been found guilty of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act. The court also said that Malik, in the name of freedom struggle, had created a mechanism to raise funds from across the world to carry out terrorist and other illegal activities in Jammu and Kashmir.

Can be sentenced to life imprisonment -


In the sections against which Yasin is registered, in such a case, he can get the maximum sentence of life imprisonment. But for this we will have to wait till May 25. 

Let us tell you that Yasin Malik has been active in the politics of Kashmir. He had also provoked and misguided the local youth. 

Misguiding the youth in the wrong direction-

Yasin Malik is considered an important hand in taking the youth in the wrong direction. Let us also tell you that separatist leader Yasin Malik was accused of UAPA, sedition and terrorist conspiracy. Not only this, there were many serious allegations including the murder of Kashmiri Pandits, the killing of Air Force officers, which Yasin had confessed to all the crimes in sequence.

 

Attempt to suppress voice of Kashmiri leaders: Pakistani response

Pakistan claimed that the allegations against Yasin Malik are fabricated. Yasin Malik is currently lodged in Tihar Jail and this has also angered the Pakistan government. Pakistan alleged that India is trying to suppress the voice of Kashmiri leaders. Yasin Malik is in poor health conditions in jail and is bereft of treatment.

Other separatists may also hang soon

In the last hearing on May 10, the court had given Farooq Ahmed Dar alias Bitta Karate, Shabir Shah, Masarat Alam, Mohammad Yusuf Shah, Aftab Ahmed Shah, Altaf Ahmed Shah, Naeem Khan, Mohammad Akbar Khande, Raja Mehrajuddin Kalwal, Bashir Ahmed Bhat, Zahoor Ahmed Charges were formally framed against other Kashmiri separatist leaders including Shah Watali, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Abdul Rashid Sheikh, and Naval Kishore Kapoor. The chargesheet was also filed against Lashkar-e-Taiba founder Hafiz Saeed and Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin, who have been declared absconders in the case.
