DDC Poonch reviews functioning of District Hospital at RKS meeting

District Development Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet,  today reviewed the functioning of the district hospital here at a meeting of Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS).Among others were present in the meeting  were Chairman Municipal Committee Poonch Sunil Sharma; Chief Medical Officer Poonch, Dr. Shamim Bhatti; , members RKS Taj Mir, Surjan Singh, Surinder Singh, Naresh Chander, besides Executive Engineers PWD , PDD Division Poonch, Executive Engineer Jal Shakti and others.

At the outset, Medical Superintendent Dr. Zulafqar Ahmed gave a detailed presentation on the function of the District Hospital.The Deputy Commissioner directed hospital administration to take measures to further improve patient care services and ensure smooth functioning of  X-ray, USG and other sections.Regarding Dental OPD Services, the Medical Superintendent was asked to start services in the morning and wait duty up to 08:00 PM on a daily basis.

The DC also directed to provide services under JSSK, Ayushman PMJAY SEHAT including Dialysis services with 100% IPD conversion into centrally sponsored schemes for zero out of pocket expenditure  by the common man. He further directed to improve delivery services, OT services and  to outsource dietary services for IPD patients.
