He became the first teenager to defeat Nadal on clay court. Carlos has made it to the final of his second ATP Masters tournament within 5 weeks.The 19-year-old Carlos defeated current world No. 1 Djokovic 6-7(5/7), 7-5, 7-6(7/5) in the semi-finals of the Madrid Open.

This is his first win over Djokovic.Alkaraj has won seven matches against the top-10 players in this season. He will face defending champion Alexander Zverev in the final of the Madrid Open.
