Kokka Trailer: Neeru Bajwa & Gurnam Bhullar Break The Stereotypes Of Ageism

Finally, the trailer of the most awaited Punjabi movie Kokka is out. As we all know the movie is based on love and the age gap, the trailer is perfectly depicting the same. The film which is all set to release on 20 May shows that Ajooni (Neeru Bajwa) is a 40 years old single who crosses her path with Akaal (Gurnam Bhullar) who is quite younger than her. Besides her age, Neeru looks extremely beautiful and we can see the actress in different attire. She is a strong woman who is trying to get married by hunting for the perfect person. However, just because she doesn’t fit in the society’s set frame of ‘eligible age’, she comes across the most irksome and weird marriage proposals but when she crossed her path with Gurnam, things started changing in their life. Gurnam, who is looking for ‘Kokka’ kudi, mocks Nereru and calls her Aunty.

Though the duo fell in love later, Ajooni relished every moment of her love life. But suddenly, an unusual thing happened and they got separated from each other. And undeniably it is a unique concept directed by ace director Rupinder Inderjit. Coming to the background score, cinematography, and editing, the team has done a praiseworthy job and gives a soul to the movie.
