Koratala Siva's Telugu action drama Acharya brings to reel, the real-life father-son duo of Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan which hit theatres on 29 April. The film also stars Pooja Hegde and Kajal Aggarwal in a pivotal roles along with Sonu Sood and Jisshu Sengupta. This is Ram Charan's first film SS Rajamouli's mega-hit RRR, where he starred alongside Jr NTR. The film crossed Rs 1,100 crore at the global box office.

An outright DISASTER.. a pointless story that goes no where, highly outdated.

Speaking of the film, it portrays the story of Chiranjeevi who plays the role of Acharya, whereas his son, Ram Charan is Siddha. In the film the father-son duo work towards saving the holy land and divine forest near Dharmasthali. Pooja is seen as Neelambari, and Sonu Sood plays the antagonist Basava.
