Jai Ram Thakur extends warm birthday wishes to Governor

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur visited Raj Bhavan today and extended warm wishes to Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar on his birthday. He wished the Governor a healthy and long life. Chief Minister's wife Dr. Sadhna Thakur also accompanied him on the occasion. Lady Governor Anagha Arlekar was also present.President of India Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Members of the State Cabinet, Union Ministers and other dignitaries telephonically greeted the Governor.

Earlier, the Governor performed a Yajana in the presence of other family members in the Yagyashala at Raj Bhavan in the morning and planted sapling a Poplar plant in the premises. He celebrated his birthday by lighting the lamp along with the Raj Bhavan employees.Director General of Police Sanjay Kundu, Principal Chief Conservator of Forest Ajay Srivastava, Vice Chancellors of Shimla and Nauni Universities, other senior officers and other prominent persons were also present on the occasion.
