A piece of news that has become the hottest topic right now is Ajay Devgn and Sudeeep Kichha’s Twitter war. Although the duo has ended it in a healthy way it seems like some celebrities and politicians have now entered the battlefields to put their remarks on the same. Adding to the list Sonu Sood, Ram Gopal Varma and some politicians like Former Karnataka CM, Siddaramaiah, Former Karnataka CM, and leader HD Kumaraswamy have joined the controversy.Sonu Sood reacted to Ajay Devgn and Kiccha Sudeep's spat. "I don’t think Hindi can be called just the national language. India has one language, which is entertainment. It doesn’t really matter which industry you belong to. If you entertain people, they will love you, honour you and accept you," said Sonu.

Not only this, the actor further noted that filmmakers need to start respecting the audience's sensibilities now. "Gone are the days when people used to say ‘leave your mind behind’. They won’t leave their minds behind and shell out thousands of rupees on an average film. Only good cinema will be accepted," he opined. After this, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma decided to express his views on the matter as well. He shared a series of tweets and wrote, “the north stars are insecure and jealous of the south stars because a Kannada dubbing film #KGF2 had a 50 crore opening day and we all are going to see the coming opening days of Hindi films”

Whether u intended or not am glad u made this statement ,because unless there’s a strong stir , there cannot be a calm especially at a time when there seems to be a war like situation between Bolly(north)wood and Sandal(South) wood https://t.co/SXPqvrU8OV

Also, joining the fight, politician Siddaramaiah also took a stand for Sudeep and said, Hindi was never & will never be our National Language.

Hindi was never & will never be our National Language.

It is the duty of every Indian to respect linguistic diversity of our Country.

Each language has its own rich history for its people to be proud of.

I am proud to be a Kannadiga!! https://t.co/SmT2gsfkgO

HD Kumaraswamy also joined the debate and shared a series of tweets.

Actor @KicchaSudeep saying that Hindi is not a National Language is correct. There is nothing to find fault in his statement. Actor @ajaydevgn is not only hyper in nature but also shows his ludicrous behaviour. 1/7

Just because a large population speaks Hindi, it doesn’t become a National Language. Less than 9 States, Kashmir-Kanyakumari, have Hindi as 2nd, 3rd language or not even that. This being situation what is the truth in Ajay Devgan’s statement? What do you mean by not to dub? 3/7

Ajaya Devgan’s blabbered as a mouth piece of BJP’s Hindi Nationalism of one nation, one tax, one language & one government. 5/7

An addiction for primacy is dividing the country. A seed sown by the BJP has become contagious dividing the nation. This is a threat to India’s unity. 7/7#stopHindiImposition
