Taarak Mehta Ka Oolath Chashmah always entertains its fans with amazing joyous episodes. The show has been telecast for more than a decade, always seen spending gala time on screens. But recently, the makers were indulged in a controversy. For the unversed, the Gokuldham members were seen enjoying a musical night together. Bhide (played by Mandar Chandwadkar) played some iconic songs while others danced and had fun. Meanwhile, Dadaji (played by Amit Bhatt) shared some tales about the songs with the youngsters.

But things went wrong when Lata Mangeshkar's song ‘Aye Mere Watan Ke Logo’ was played. During that time Dadaji mentioned the wrong date. He said that the song was composed as a tribute to the Indian soldiers, who were martyred in the Indo-China war in 1965. While the reason for the creation of the song was correct, the song was released on Republic Day, 1963.

Now, after this people started trolling and slamming the team as they did the wrong research. But now an apology note was released by creator Asit Kumar Modi and team Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah read, “We would like to apologise to our viewers, fans and well-wishers. In today’s episode, we inadvertently mentioned 1965 as the year of release of song “Aye Mere Watan Ke Logon”. However, we would like to correct ourselves. The song was released on 26th Jan, 1963. We promise to be mindful in the future. We appreciate your support and love”
