Dunki: Shahrukh Khan Announces New Film With Raj Kumar Hirani & Unveils Release Date

Shahrukh Khan has been all over the news portals and social media for the upcoming film Pathaan is now again sharing a piece of tremendous news with fans. As there were a lot of rumours surfacing all over the social media that the actor is working with director Raj Kumar Hirani, but there has been no confirmation regarding the same.But now both the artists broke their silence and shared a 1-minute 38 seconds clip on Instagram. The big announcement reveals that SRK has been all set to gear up his career with the film ‘Dunki’. The film is slated to release on 22 December 2023. Moreover, the actor also tagged Taapsee in his social media post, indicating that she may co-star.
Further, in the video one would witness that SRK has been interacting with ace director Hirani. SRK is seen standing in front of a wall with posters of Hirani's films. As he esteems the posters, he is joined by the filmmaker. When Hirani asks Shah Rukh what he is looking at, the actor replies, “Ranbir Kapoor in and as Sanju, Aamir Khan as PK, and Sanju baba (Sanjay Dutt), of course, as Munnabhai MBBS. Such iconic characters. Do you have something like this for me?”To this Hirani replies, he has a script, Shah Rukh gets thrilled and asks him if it has comedy, emotion, and romance. The director expresses an affirmative to the first two but advises Shah Rukh to avoid his signature arms open pose while romancing. “I'll chop off my hands if you wish,” jokes Shah Rukh.
The news has surely made his fans excited as Shahrukh Khan who has been away from the cinema for quite a long time is finally making films with prominent directors. Meanwhile, details regarding the film are still under the wraps but we hope the makers will not keep us waiting for so long.
