Nine food parks of Multi-National Companies have been established in the State : Jagat Prakash Nadda

The Congress Party has always compromised with the interests of the State and its people whereas on the other hand, the BJP has not only safeguarded the interests of the State, but also provided several developmental projects and incentives to Himachal Pradesh. This was stated by the MP and National BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda while addressing the largely attended ‘Abhinandan Samaroh’ organized at Peterhof Lawns here today in his honour after the landslide victory of BJP in four states of the country in the recently concluded Vidhan Sabha elections of these states.While thanking the people for his rousing welcome, Jagat Prakash Nadda said that this was not just his honour but was a regard of every party worker who worked untiredly to strengthen the BJP base in the country. 

He said that feat was possible due to the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who have ensured that the country regains its lost pride and glory and every one can live with dignity and pride. He said that it was the Prime Minister who ensured that the weaker section of the society and those deprived of welfare benefits gets their dues that ensured BJP victory in four States. He said that it was after 38 years that any government succeeded in repeating its Government in Uttar Pardesh. He said that the Congress candidates lost their security in 389 seats and AAP candidates forfeited their security in all the 377 seats. He said that it was for the first time that any Government succeeded in repeating its Government in Uttrakhand. He said that it was for the first time that BJP Government won on its own in Manipur. 

Jagat Prakash Nadda said that nine food parks of Multi-National Companies have been established in the State and the State has also emerged as a pharma hub and over 12 companies were exporting their products world-wide. He said that the status of special category state was also restored by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and also the 90:10 ration for Central State share for projects was also restored during the tenure of the BJP. He said that the special industrial package for the State of Himachal Pradesh was also provided by Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Kol Dam Project was also started during the tenure of Atal Bihari Vajpayee and dedicated to the State by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the Luhri Project could also kick start only after the BJP came to power at Centre. He said that Atal Tunnel was also a gift of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the people of the State. He said that with the construction of this tunnel, dream of Atal Bihari Vajpayee was fulfilled. 

The National BJP President said that on the completion of four-years tenure of the State Government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid foundation stones and dedicated projects worth Rs 11,500 crore to the people of the State. He said that projects such as IIM and AIIMS were sanctioned to the State during the tenure of the BJP. He said that Rs 1400 crore were being spent to construction of this ambitious project. He said that this would be dedicated to the State by the Prime Minister during the month of June this year. He said that Medical Colleges at Chamba, Sirmour, Hamirpur, Mandi were sanctioned to the State were also possible due to the BJP Government at the Centre. 

Jagat Prakash Nadda also appreciated the efforts of the State Government headed by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur in making Himachal Pradesh a first State of the country to achieve  the target of cent per cent vaccination of target group. He said that 9.37 lakh farmers of the State were being provided Rs 6000 per year under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi  Yojna. He said that over 8.37 lakh connections were provided in the State under JJM during the last two years whereas during the last forty years only 8 lakh water connections were provided in the State. He said that Rs 261 crore Medical Device Park was coming up at Nalagarh whereas efforts were on to get Bulk Drug Park sanctioned for the State from the Centre. He said that over 5.40 lakh people were registered under the HIMCARE and 18,000 patients have been registered under Sahara Yojna and Rs. 340 crore has been spent under this Yojna.

The National BJP President said that Rs 194 crore were provided by the Union Government for Smart City Project for Shimla town, whereas Rs 190 crore were provided by the present State Government. He said that Parking of over 700 vehicles was coming up at IGMC, whereas parking for 400 vehicles was coming up at Vikasnagar. He said that Rs 194 crore were being spent under Dharamshala Smart City Project. He said that the BJP was a party with the difference and was always concerned about the welfare of the poor and the downtrodden. He also urged the party workers to go to the people with the developmental works and achievements of the Centre and State Government. He said that over 23000 youth of the country were brought from war affected Ukraine out of which about 430 students were from Himachal Pradesh. He said that within nine months after the Corona pandemic broke in, vaccination was developed in the country. The National BJP President also handed over Name Plates to the Booth Palaks under the ‘Chale Booth Ki Ore-Bade Jeet Ki Ore’ campaign. 

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that the State was fortunate that the son of the soil was heading the largest political party of the world. He said that it was only the BJP where a common party worker can rise to the topmost position in the party, whereas all the other political parties are headed by families. He said that the State was also fortunate that despite being a small State, Himachal Pradesh not only has a National President from the State, but also a dynamic Union Minister in the form of Anurag Singh Thakur who was holding a very important portfolio of Information and Broadcasting and Youth Affairs and Sports. Jai Ram Thakur said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi also consider Himachal Pradesh his second home and was always considerate towards the developmental demands of the State. He said that the BJP Government in Himachal Pradesh during the last over four years have always strived hard to make Himachal Pradesh as most progressive State of the country. He said that the Congress party has completely lost its base in the entire country and the State. 

The Chief Minister said that the Union Government has provided a special assistance of Rs 800 crore to the State so that the pace of development goes uninterrupted. He said that all this was possible due to the double engine Governments at the Centre and the State. He said that the Centre Government has always provided all possible assistance to the State so that the State could forge ahead on the path of progress and prosperity. Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Anurag Singh Thakur said that by winning all the four states under the able leadership of National BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda would surely win in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh as well. He said that 80 crore people were provided free ration under the ‘PM Garib Kalyan Yojna’ so that no one goes to bed without food during the pandemic. He also appreciated the efforts of the State in pioneering the country in achieving the target of cent per cent vaccination of the population in eligible age groups. 

State BJP President Suresh Kashyap while welcoming the National BJP President said that the State was the first State in the Country to start the concept of ‘Tridev’ upto the booth level. He said that the BJP has succeeded to strengthen its base in the State. He said that ‘Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan’ has been launched in the State under the programme under ‘Chale Booth Ki Ore-Bade Jeet Ki Ore’. He said that the BJP workers did commendable work during the Corona pandemic so that helping hand could be provided to the needy. He also assured the National BJP President that the BJP would again form Government in the State.National BJP Vice President Saudan Singh, BJP In-charge Avinash Rai Khanna, BJP Co-In charge Sanjay Tandon, Ministers, MLAs, Chairmen of various boards and Corporations, General Secretaries of BJP Trilok Jamwal, Trikol Kapoor and Rakesh Jamwal, Organization Secretary Pawan Rana, Presidents and General Secretaries of various frontal organizations were present on the occasion.
