District Electoral Officer sends message of voter awareness with countless young voters by releasing 'Sky Lantern'

To motivate the voters of the district to cast their vote for sure, the Deputy Commissioner cum District Electoral Officer (D.E.O.) Apneet Riyait has undertaken several awareness campaigns with consistency. As a part of these, a special program was held at Dussehra ground this evening where the D.E.O. today released Sky Shots and Sky Lanterns into at Dusshera ground in order to create awareness amongst the voters.The D.E.O. appealed to the voters to exercise their vote judiciously on February 20 and said that vote is both our right as well as responsibility. 

The D.E.O. said that various activities are being organized by the District Administration in the district to inspire the people to cast their ballot contributing towards strengthening the democracy.The DC cum D.E.O. also added that women, elderly, Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and the Young voters are the focus of this campaign.She said that such activities carried out under SVEEP boost the morale of voters and they are sensitized about their duty to strengthen the democracy.Among others present on the occasion were, the DDF Aditya Madan, APRO Lokesh Kumar, Placement Officer Mangesh Sood and Career Counsellor Aditya Rana.
