BJP candidate made commitment to implement need based policy of housing for Mohali residents on priority basis

Both Congress Mayor Sidhu and former Mayor Kulwant Singh got involved in Mohali's Need Based Policy but did nothing and cheated voters after getting votes

Mohali BJP candidate Sanjeev Vashisht is in touch with the voters constantly. In a meetings Sanjeev Vashisht listened the problems of the voters. Sanjeev Vashisht said that the residents of Mohali have been waiting for the implementation of the need-based policy for their residences from   long time. At present in  the area’s of Mohali has 5,048 HE, LIG  and EWS flats , which requires a need based policy of Mohali. This policy will benefit around fifty thousand residents of Mohali Congress mayor Sidhu and former mayor Kulwant Singh, did nothing on this except claiming to begin the work very soon  . As a result the residents of  Mohali are deprived of this policy. Vashisht said that after  coming in power BJP government, will not only implement  this policy on priority basis as per public opinion, but also be revoking the violation of earlier modified flats or houses and certifying the structural changes made in them.

Former Councilor Ashok Jha said that when Kulwant Singh became the Mayor of Mohali in 2015 he promised to implement this policy and got votes from the people but did nothing. Ashok Jha alleged that he raised this issue in 2016 But the MLA did not allow the issue to be resolved to take advantage of the 2017 elections. Then he won the election by promising to bring a need based policy to the people and did not implement it and now again thinking to take advantage of it ,But now the people have understood the tricks of the Congress candidate and will vote BJP Candidate Sanjeev Vashisht to get this policy be implemented in their favor.Under the proposed NEED based policy, residents of LIG, HIG, MIG and Super MIG houses will be allowed to have one room in their yard and another on the first floor. Construction on the third floor may be allowed for independent category houses and flats. At the same time it is proposed to provide relief to the renovated houses without approval. Implementation of this policy would benefit most of the residents of Mohali.The meeting was attended by a large number of people including former councilors Bobby Kamboj, Aneet Joshi, Nitu Sharma, Isha Mahajan, Poonam Handa, Kirti Neeraj Thakur, Kirti Joshi.
