A new road connecting Siliguri in West Bengal with neigbouring countries Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal will be constructed at a cost of Rs.1,400 crore, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said here Monday."We will be developing a new road connecting Siliguri with Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan. This will cost Rs.1,400 crore," Banerjee told reporters after concluding an official meeting at the north Bengal secretariat 'Utarkanya' in Jalpaiguri district.She also announced plans to set up a new zoo at Garchumuk deer park in Bengal's Howrah district.Banerjee reiterated her government's commitment to prevent any kind of pisive politics in the state."Bengal is a land of communal harmony. We will not allow any pisive politics in the state," she said.
