CM Orders Magisterial Inquiry Into Alleged Firing Incident At Gurdaspur

The Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal today ordered a magisterial inquiry into an incident of alleged firing at Gurdaspur, in which one person was killed and another injured.

Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the Chief Minister’s Office said that Mr. Badal directed the Deputy Commissioner Gurdaspur Mr. Mohinder Singh Kainth to get the magisterial inquiry conducted at the earliest in a fair and impartial manner.    The Chief Minister also appealed the people of Punjab to exercise restrained and maintained peace, communal harmony and amity at all cost.  

Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner Gurdaspur has entrusted the inquiry to the SDM Gurdaspur Mr. Tajinder Pal Singh Sandhu and asked him to submit the report at the earliest.
