Bittu slams SAD-BJP over Sahnewal airport

Member of Parliament Ravneet Singh Bittu has slammed SAD-BJP alliance over Sahnewal Airport Issue. Mr. Bittu said the as the Naresndra Modi has swear-in the lone flight that Ludhiana and Delhi has been discontinued.Are these Achhe Din the SAD and BJP were boasting about?  Bittu asked.Former union minister of state Minister of information and broadcasting Manish Tewari had taken the initiative and had started flights between Ludhiana and Delhi. To sort out the visibility issue for landing of aeroplanes Mr. Tewari had also taken the initiative to install DVOR at airport.

Chiding the SAD-BJP leaders Mr. Bittu said the state government has been boasting about expansion of the airport, but it is like making castles in the air. Two days after the press conference held by PWD Minister Sharanjit Singh Dhillon the lone flight that connects Delhi and Ludhiana has been withdrawn.Mr. Bittu said as the NDA government is in the power its ally SAD should raise the issue and should put effort to continue air service between Ludhiana and Delhi.He further added that as he has made promise about establishing international level airport in Ludhiana, he will put his demand before the NDA government and would put effort to upgrade the airport upto international level.  Primarily, he will try to restore air service that connects ludhiana to Delhi.
