Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal has appealed to the people of Chandigarh to unite in support of the BJP by citing the all round development they have experienced over the last six years. Khattar was canvassing for BJP candidate for the second time in a week in view of the upcoming local bodies poll scheduled for December 24. He sought votes by addressing the public rally organized for Rajinder Kumar Sharma (Ward No. 35) in Sector 49, Mayor Ravikant Sharma (Ward No 17) in Sector 22 and finally at Harjeet Singh (Ward No 8) near Mauli Jagran.In his address Khattar affirmed that BJP became the first political party which has introduced the true meaning of development to the people and realised how the MC can solve their problems. “BJP has prepared development plans by understanding the local problems of every section.

 Out of which 95 percent of the schemes have been implemented on the ground and locals are getting its benefits. if BJP makes a consecutive second time in house, MC would accomplish all ongoing development schemes/projects without any delay.”  confirms Khattar.Without naming the Congress, Khattar took a dig at them and said that if people promote a corrupt party for the MC, Chandigarh will tarnish its image with a slew of  scams and scandals  instead of development schemes. Present on the  occasion includes ward president Vijay Sharma and Neelam Shahi, program in-charge and party spokesperson Kailash Jain, VK Bali and Lucky were present.
