2 month SATC for Senior Assistants concludes at IMPARD Jammu; DG chairs valedictory function

Director General, J&K Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development (J&K IMPARD) Saurabh Bhagat, today chaired the valedictory function of Secretariat Assistant Training Course (SATC) for Senior Assistants at Jammu. Pertinently, the  General  Administration Department had deputed  1250 Senior Assistants   from respective heads of the departments to J&K IMPARD for undergoing SATC, of which, 750 were deputed at IMPARD Srinagar and  500 at IMPARD  Jammu.The, course which  commenced on 11th October,  2021 at  both  the campuses of  IMPARD, was inaugurated by Director   General, J&K IMPARD, Saurabh  Bhagat,  at   Srinagar and   by Director Trainings J&K IMPARD, Dr. Reva Sharma at Jammu.The programme was conducted under the Course Coordinatorship of Dr. Neena Bhalla, Dr. Manju Kapoor and Dr. Jyoti Sadhu, faculty members of the Institute at J&K IMPARD, Jammu.

The Director General informed that this is for the first time that such a large number of  government   officials   have been deputed by GAD for undergoing the said training course at IMPARD.He highlighted   the role of IMPARD in capacity building and training especially in the areas of Financial Management, GFR-2017, e-Procurement, CSR, Manual of Secretariat Procedure and Service   Regulations. He impressed   upon   the officials to work with dedication and zeal after going back to their respective   departments.The Director General highlighted the efforts of GAD towards clearing the backlog of officials in view of stagnation in promotions in their parent departments. He also appreciated  the contribution  of  all  the  employees especially the faculty members at both the campuses of IMPARD for successful conduct of this programme.Later, DG distributed certificates  among the trainees.Faculty members, Joint Director, Financial Advisor and Chief Accounts Officer, Deputy Director IMPARD and other officers of the Institute were also present on the occasion.
