A review meeting of Himachal Pradesh State Forest Development Corporation Limited, South Zone was held here today under the Chairmanship of Shri Kewal Singh Pathania, Vice Chairman of the Corporation. Pathania said that purchase value of resin has been fixed at Rs. 6500 per quintal for the year 2014-15 by the Corporation. He said that Corporation has started the work on supply of wood for tribal areas of Kinnaur and Spiti for the current financial year.. He directed the officials to identify spots across the Pabbar river in Shimla district and Yamuna (Paonta) in Sirmaur district to start mining process. He also directed all the units of various pisions to earn profits by adding more activities and to visit their respective areas and submit monthly departmental report to the headquarter. Shri G.S. Walia, Managing Director, Shri S.K. Sharma, Executive Director, Shri R.K. Sood, Director, Law and other senior officers of the Corporation were also present in the meeting.
