Harsimrat Badal Inducted As Minister Due To Her Performance Say Senior SAD Leaders

Senior Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leaders today said former Congress mla Sukhpal Khaira had become so frustrated at his own failure in politics and so blind to the faults of the Gandhi family that he could not appreciate the stellar performance of Harsimrat Badal during her last stint as mp which they said had resulted on her induction as Union Minister yesterday.In a statement here, the senior leaders - Maheshinder Singh Grewal and Dr Daljit Singh Cheema said It was difficult for Khaira, who belonged to a party which beloved in psycophancy alone for political advancement, to believe in meritocracy. "Prime minister Narendra Modi chose Mrs Harsimrat Badal to be part of her team on the basis of her performance in parliament as well as the work done by her in her constituency. During the last five years Mrs Badal has emerged as the face of Punjab in the national capital who successfully took up the issues of the State as well as the Sikh community in parliament. We understand it is difficult for you to understand the concept of meritocracy as you are far removed from the people and have recently been even rejected by in your own assembly".The leaders said as far as Khaira's past was concerned, he himself was  a result of dynasty politics.

Your father, who was a known Khalistani protagonist, was a dismissed DSP before serving as a minister. You yourself have climbed the ladder to wealth by using your position to grab properties and even land across the State. Please explain the source of the huge wealth accumulated by you to the people before espousing on the subject of corruption", the leaders added.Speaking about the earlier UPA dispensation, both Mr Grewal and Dr Cheema said Shri Narendra Modi had rightly called it a Maa - Beta ki sarkar as both Mrs Sonia Gandhi and Mr Rahul Gandhi were running the UPA government unilaterally as per their whims and fancies without holding any office in the government.The leaders also asked Khaira to explain whether he had indulged in a stunt when he announced his resignation as spokesperson of the party? You must tell the people whether you have resigned as spokesperson or not. And in case you have genuinely resigned you must explain why you are still issuing press releases on behalf of the party", the akali leaders added.
