Good Governance Index: DC Kathua reviews achievements of departments

District Development Commissioner, Kathua Rahul Yadav today chaired a meeting of the District/Sectoral officers to discuss the data furnished by them regarding development of District’s Good Governance Index in Jammu & Kashmir.During the meeting, the DDC informed that the District Good Governance index is being monitored by the Government of Jammu & Kashmir for improving the efficiency across the UT Districts for which 58 Indicators and 116 data items have been finalized and approved by the Government.The data furnished by all the concerned District/Sectoral officers was discussed in detail.The DDC Kathua directed all the District/Sectoral officers to recheck that the data already furnished by them was as per prescribed formats and ensure the submission of final figures by 27.08.2021.Senior Superintendent of Police, Addl. Deputy Commissioner, Chief Planning Officer, District Statistics & Evaluation Officer, Principals of all Govt. Degree Colleges, Polytechnic College Kathua and officers of various line Departments were present in the meeting.
