Brahma Kumaris of Sunni service centre call on Governor

The Brahma Kumaris of Sunni service center called on Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar at Raj Bhavan on Friday.The Governor held spiritual discussions on this occasion and inquired about the various activities being run by the Sunni Center. He said that the organization has been actively involved in transforming humanity for the better. He said that today, everyone is in search for peace and tries to find it from outside things but spirituality has the highest and best way to peace. He added that the spiritual path leads us to good and moral conduct effortlessly and it was the culmination of all religious paths.  He appreciated the contribution of Brahma Kumaris in the direction of social consciousness and spirituality.On the occasion, the Governor said that it was a spiritual organization which has been engaged in various forms of humanitarian and social service activities. Inspired by the ideals of renunciation and service, the mission served millions of people without any distinction of caste, religion or race.BK  Reva Dass, Director, Brahma Kumaris, Sunni service center, BK Shakuntla, Head of Sunni Center and BK Mitali, Assistant Incharge were also present on the occasion.Swami Tanmahimanand, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Shimla called on the Governor.Later, State Election Commissioner Anil Khachi, Director General, National Academy of Audit and Accounts Sunil Dadhe, and Vice Chancellor, Himachal Pradesh University Professor Sikander Kumar gave a courtesy call to the Governor.
