Nirankari Samagam Begins With Shobha Yatra

The State-level Nirankari Sant Samagam began here today with a colourful procession (Shobha Yatra) in which thousands of the devotees of the Sant Nirankari Mission welcomed the Head of the Mission, His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj and led him up to the venue of the Samagam  in village Bharoli.  The two-day Samagam is being attended by thousands of the followers of the Mission and other God-loving people not only from all the parts of State but from Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi also.

His Holiness and his gracious spouse Pujya Mata Sawinder Ji seated in a flower-bedecked open vehicle while devotees came singing and dancing and march from in front of them and seeking their blessings.  Clad in various traditional costumes, they presented a beautiful example of unity in persity.  Their folk dances included the culture of different parts of Himachal Pradesh but some other parts of the country also, even though the devotional songs carried the same message.

Through various quotes displayed on playcards and the slogans they shouted, the devotees sought to convey the Mission’s message of Oneness of Mankind based on Oneness of God.  They called upon every human being to know God and get united despite all kinds of persities of caste, religion, language, culture and region.  They were also expressing their gratitude to His Holiness and glorifying him for showing them the path of life based on Truth, love, peace and unity.The procession also sought to highlight the Mission’s social welfare activities like blood donation camps, tree plantation and cleanliness drive etc.
