Cong.Sprinkling Salt On The Wounds Of ’84 Carnage Victims By Shielding Sajjan And Tytler-Sukhbir

Sukhbir Singh Badal, President Shiromani Akali Dal and Deputy Chief Minister, Punjab today said that Congress leadership was sprinkling salt on the simmering wounds of 3000 victims of 1984 anti Sikh carnage by shielding Sajjan and Tytler. 

Mr. Badal was talking to media persons after a function organized to pay tributes Sikh valiant fighter Maharaja Jassa Singh Ramgarhia here today. He said that it was matter of great shame that whole Congress Party at the instance of 10 Janpath has ganged up to deny justice to the families of 3000 Sikhs, who were burnt alive by Congress goons on the streets of National Capital New Delhi. Mr. Badal said that whole world was shocked with disbelief with the travesty of judicial system by Congress Party that has not presented any evidence in the biggest massacre of the century. He said that every right thinking citizen was asking the single question that if no body has killed 3000 Sikhs, who have killed them? Have aliens from other planet killed them and vanished? The SAD President said that Shiromani Akali Dal was fully committed to take this fight for justice to its logical conclusion and would explore every possible mean to ensure exemplary punishment to Sajjan and Tytler. Mr. Badal informed that he and Chief Minister accompanied by total Akali leadership would tomorrow meet President Pranab Mukherjee seeking his intervention for constitution of Special Investigation Team under the direct supervision of Chief Justice of Supreme Court of India and for putting all these cases in a Special court. Mr. Badal said that whole world was looking towards India that how this government gives justice to the victims of ’84 riots and credibility of Indian Democracy and judicial system was at stake. 

When asked about the demand for resignation of Union Railway Minister Mr. Pawan Kumar Bansal and Union Law Minister Mr. Ashwani Kumar, the SAD President said that the fact is that every single minister in this Congress led UPA Government was involved in one scam or another. He said that, “a scam-a day,” Government after creating a Guinness Book of Record as most corrupt government has become too desperate to loot the Government exchequer as everybody knows that the lamp before blowing out flickers widely. Paying tributes to legendary Sikh warrior Maharaja Jassa Singh Ramgarhia, Mr. Badal said that Akali-BJP Government was fully committed for the welfare of Ramgaria community in the state. He called upon people to propagate the glorious legacy of Sardar Ramgarhia who fought the Mughals valiantly to safeguard the moral and ethical values of humanity based on the tenets of Sikh Panth. He said that name of Jassa Singh would always remain alive as the founder of the Great Ramgarhia Misl, who played a major role in the battles of the Khalsa Panth. 

Prominent amongst those were present on the occasion included Mr. Sikander Singh Maluka, Education Minister, Mr. Sarup Chand Singla, Chief Parliament Secretary, Mr. Baljit Singh Beer Behman, Mayor, former Minister Mr. Hira Singh Gabria and  former CPS Mr. Jagdeep Singh Nakai.
