DDC Shopian undertakes extensive tour of Town

The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today undertook an extensive tour of Shopian town from Bonbazar to Zero Point and finalised a comprehensive plan for its beautification.During the tour, the DDC held interaction with presidents of Traders Association and Sumo Stands and other locals about developmental issues of the town.The DDC finalised plan for beautification  of town which included shifting of sumo stands and identification of spaces for creation of parking facilities for its decongestion, traffic management, installation of new street lights and repair of existing ones and identification of various locations for installation of Advertising LED display. The DDC during the visit was accompanied by Tehsildar Shopian Bilal Ahmad, ARTO Muazzam Ali, EO MC Mohd Ismail and other officials.
