SSWC&MA approves 13 new industrial enterprises project proposals

The 15th meeting of the State Single Window Clearance & Monitoring Authority (SSWC&MA) held here today under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur gave approval to 13 project proposals for setting up new industrial enterprises and expansion of existing units involving a total proposed investment of about Rs. 509.86 crore and employment potential of about 2161 persons, which goes to show that the State continues to attract the investment despite of overall slowdown in the economy.New proposals approved by the Authority include proposals of M/s Qualitek Starch Pvt. Ltd., Plot No.31-35, IA Gondpur, Tehsil Paonta Sahib, Distt. Sirmour, H.P. for manufacturing of Starch, Gluten, Germ, Fiber, M/s Okaya Power Private Limited, Vill. Gullarwala, Tehsil- Baddi, Distt. Solan, H.P. for manufacturing of EV Chargers, Lithium Packs, LI- Modules, Solar System/Solar Lighting System etc. M/s Deep Green Air Manufacturers Pvt. Ltd., IA, Pandoga, Distt. Una, H.P. for manufacturing of Tablet, Capsule, Syrup, Injection, Ointment, M/s Jai Bhawani Industries Unit-II, Vill. Chanalmajra, Tehsil Baddi District Solan, H.P. for manufacturing of Toilet Soap and Liquid Soap, M/s Onyx Biotec Pvt. Ltd., unit-II, Vill. Teliwala, Tehsil Nalagarh, Distt. Solan, H.P. for manufacturing of IV Fluids, M/s Ian Macleod Distillers India Pvt. Ltd., Industrial Area Pandoga, Distt. Una, H.P. for manufacturing of Malt Spirit, Cattle Feed (Bye Products).Expansion proposals approved by the Authority include proposals of M/s Wipro Enterprises Pvt. Solan, H.P. for manufacturing of Toilet Soap, Soupy Noodles, Glycerin, Glucovita, Safewash, Personal Care Product, LED Bulb, etc.  M/s H M Steels Limited, Village Johron, Trilokpur Road, Tehsil Kala Amb, Distt. Sirmour, H.P. for manufacturing of MS Billet, MS Flat, ERW Pipes, GI Pipes etc. M/s Metrocraft, Village Katha Near Unichem Labs Tehsil Baddi, Distt Solan, H.P. for setting up of industrial unit for manufacturing of Ointment and Cream, M/s Godrej Consumer Products Ltd., Plot No-85-88 EPIP Phase-II Village-Thana Tehsil Baddi, Distt. Solan H.P. for manufacturing of Handwash, Toilet Soap, M/s Leo Designs and Packaging Pvt. Ltd., Vill. Berson, Tehsil Nalagarh, Distt. Solan, H.P. for manufacturing of Tablets, Capsules, Ointments, Syrup, Ampoule, Vials, Food Supplements, etc.Commissioner Industries Hans Raj Sharma welcomed the Chief Minister and conducted proceedings of the meeting.Industries Minister Bikram Singh, Chief Secretary Anil Khachi, Additional Chief Secretary Industries Ram Subhag Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Revenue R.D. Dhiman, Principal Secretaries J.C. Sharma and K.K. Pant, Secretary Jal Shakti Vikas Labroo, Special Secretary Dr. Nipun Jindal, Managing Director, HPSEBL R.K. Sharma and other senior officers attended the meeting.
