DDC/Panchayat By Election: Training imparted to counting staff at Kishtwar

A day long training session for the counting staff was conducted on the 2nd day today here under the overall supervision of District Panchayat Election Officer, Ashok Sharma.Chief Accounts Officer District fund Office, Irfan Majeed; Assistant Labour Commissioner, Anoop Kumar; Chief Agriculture Officer, S.K Bhagat; Chief Sheep Husbandry officer, Farhat Bashir; Master trainer, Girdhari Lal; Romesh Kumar, Shashi Kant besides other officials remain present on the occasion.The counting of the votes of 14 DDC constituencies for the first ever District Development Council election is scheduled on December 22, 2020 in the district and is being held at 06 designated counting venues Viz Kendriya Vidyalaya Kishtwar, GDC Kishtwar, CFC building Paddar, TRC building Chatroo, HSS Dachhan and HSS Yourdu Marwah.During training programme, the DPEO briefed the counting staff about various aspects of the counting process. He directed the counting staff to follow the set procedure while discharging their duty.He further asked the trainees to adhere to the COVID19 protocols and guidelines issued by government from time to time.
