846 grievances and demands received during Jan Manch organised in eleven districts

Jan Manch was organized in 11 districts of State today.During this programme 846 complaints and demands were received, out of them most of complaints were disposed off on the spot. Keeping in view corona pandemic use of face mask and social distancing was ensured besides all guidelines and SOPs issued by government from time to time were also adhered to strictly. To contain the spread of corona virus all safety and precautionary measures were properly followed by district administrations.
District Shimla
Speaker Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Vipin Singh Parmar presided over the Jan Manch held at Kelvi in Theog Sub-division of District Shimla.During Jan Manch 107 complaints were received out of them 65 complaints were redressed on the spot and the remaining complaints were forwarded to the concerned departments for speedy redressal.During the occasion free health check-up of 194 people were conducted apart from this 31 mutation certificates were issued. Five eligible women were also provided free gas connections under the Grihini Suvidha Yojana.On the occasion Vipin Singh Parmar said that today Jan Manch has been organised after long interval in wake of Covid-19 pandemic. He urged the people to strictly follow the norms and guidelines issued by government for safety from corona virus.Chairman APMC Shimla-Kinnaur Naresh Sharma and Deputy Commissioner Aditya Negi was also present on the occasion.
Chamba District
Jal Shakti Minister Mahender Singh Thakur presided over the Jan Manch at Gram Panchayat Sunara of Bharmaur Assembly Constituency in District Chamba. On this occasion as many as 67 complaints and demands were received and most of them were disposed off on the spot.Jal Shakti Minister said that schemes worth Rs.1,134 Crore funded by World Bank were being implemented to strengthen the economy of horticulturists in state. He directed the officers to ensure the benefits of these schemes among common masses of the state. He said that State Government is insuring tap water under Jal Jeevan Mission to every household of state.MLA Jia Lal Kapoor, Deputy Commissioner DC Rana and other senior officials were also present on the occasion.
District Solan
Urban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj presided over the Jan Manch at Bathalang in district Solan. During Jan Manch 52 complaints were received, 35 complaints were disposed off on the spot and remaining were forwarded concerned departments for early disposal.Medical camp was also organized during Jan Manch in which 120 people availed free medical checkup facility.On the occasion Suresh Bhardwaj urged the people to strictly follow the guidelines issued by government for safety from Covid-19. He requested the people to wear the mask properly and social distance should be properly maintained.Deputy Commissioner K.C. Chaman was also present on the occasion.
District Mandi
Rural Development Minister Virender Kanwar presided over the Jan Manch organized at Nagvain in district Mandi. Here 140 complaints and demands were received. Most of the complaints and demands were addressed on the spot.Rural Development Minister said that there are 40 thousand Self Help Groups in state and the State Government is making efforts to market their produce in big cities of the country.On this occasion five eligible women were provided free gas connections under Himachal Grihini Suvidha Yojana and cheque Rs. 12 thousand each were given to five girls under Beti hai Anmol Yojana. During Jan Manch 29 different certificate were issued and 205 people availed health check-up facility in health camp.MLA Jawahar Thakur and DC Mandi Rugved Thakur were present on the occasion.
Una district
In Una district, Jan Manch was organised at Haroli Constituency and was chaired by Industries Minister Bikram Singh. 22 complaints were received during the Jan Manch and most of them were disposed off on the spot and rest were sent to concerned department for early redressal.Bikram Singh said that Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has proposed the name of Haroli in Una district for setting up Bulk Drug Park to the centre government. He said that Himachal Pradesh is already a leader in drug production and is a pharmaceutical hub of the country and added that this project would be another feather in the cap of the state and would generate employment opportunities thereby boosting the industrial sector.Deputy Commissioner Raghav Sharma was present on the occasion.
Kinnaur District
Under the Chairmanship of Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Rajiv Saizal, Jan Manch was organised at Gyabung of Kinnaur District where 59 complaints were received out of them 22 were disposed off on the spot.On this occasion, 8 beneficiaries were distributed free gas connections under Himachal Grihini Suvidha Scheme and 20 Mutation were done by Revenue department. Health checkup of 99 people was conducted during the free medical camps organised by Health and Ayurveda departments.Dr. Rajiv Saizal said that 8,841 health cards have been issued to the people in the district and Rs. 5.83 lakh have been spent to provide free treatment to 173 beneficiaries under Himcare Scheme.On the occasion Vice Chairman HP State Forest Corporation Surat Negi, Ex. MLA Tejwant Singh Negi and Deputy Commissioner Hem Raj Bairwa were present of the occasion.
Sirmaur District
MPP and Power Minister Sukh Ram Chaudhary presided over Jan Manch held at Tatvan gram panchayat of the Sangrah development block of Sirmaur district.During this programme 98 complaints were received out of which 21 were disposed off on the spot.On this occasion Minister distributed 54 free gas connections under Mukhyamantri Grihini Suvidha Yojna and under Anmol Yojna 7 girls were given FD of 10 to 12 thousands each. Under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao programme appreciation certificates were given on the birth of 8 new born girls in the area.Revenue department issued 130 certificates of different categories and free health check-up camps were organised by Health and Ayurveda department in which 170 people were given free medical check-up.On this occasion Deputy Commissioner Dr. R.K. Pruthi and other senior officers were also present.
Kangra District
Jan Manch was organised in Krishna Nagar of Baijnath sub-division. It was presided over by Forest and Youth Service and Sports Minister Rakesh Pathania.During the Jan Manch Programme 61 complaints were received most of them were settled on the spot and the remaining complaints were sent to the concerned departments.During the Jan Manch 72 persons were given free health check up at the camp set up by the Health and Ayurveda Department. Covid test of 30 people were also conducted on the spot.Rakesh Pathania said that Mukhyamantri Seva Sankalp Helpline-1100 was proving very helpful for timebound and early redressal of grievances of the people. He also planted a sapling under Ek Boota Beti Ke Naam Scheme.MLA Mulkh Raj Premi and Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapati were also present on the occasion.
Hamirpur District
In District Hamirpur, Jan Manch was organized at Loharli, which was presided over by Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Rajinder Garg. During the Jan Manch 58 complaints and demands were received and most of the cases were disposed off on the occasion.On the occasion 6 beneficiaries were given FDRs worth Rs. 12,000 each under Beti Hai Anmol Yojana and under Grihini Suvidha Yojana 16 beneficiaries were given free gas connections.Rajinder Garg said that Mukhyamantri Swavalamban Yojna was being implemented in the State to provide self employment opportunities to the youth of the state. He also planted a sapling on the occasion. Deputy Commissioner Devashweta Banik and senior officers were also present on the occasion.
District Bilaspur
In Bilaspur district, the Jan Manch was organised at Ghumarwin which was chaired by Deputy Chairman, Planning Board Ramesh Chand Dhwala. As many as 131 applications were received during Jan Manch out of which 94 were complaints and 37 were demands. 40 applications were disposed off on the spot and remaining were sent to concerned department for speedy redressal.On this occasion, 106 mask were distributed, 10 disability certificate were issued. Nine covid tests were also conducted and all of them were found negative and Nine persons were examined for flu.Under Ek Boota Beti Ke Naam a sapling was also planted on this occasion.Deputy Commissioner Rohit Jamwal and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
Kullu district
In Kullu district, the Jan Manch was organised at Government Senior Secondary School Kinja. Deputy Speaker Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Hans Raj presided over the function. As many as 51 complaints were received during the programme and 39 were disposed off on the spot.In health camp organised on the occasion, around 100 people availed the facility of free health check-up and lab tests of 50 people were also conducted.Hans Raj said that during the corona pandemic supply of essential commodities like rashan, fruit, vegetables and medicines were provided to lakhs of people in the State. One Nation-One Rashan Card facility was started in the State.Deputy Commissioner Richa Verma was also present on the occasion.
