Teachers plays an important role in improving lives of students: Governor

While presiding over as Chief Guest for e-inauguration of the “Saathi Haath Badhana”, a social initiative of Coaching Federation of India (CFI) at Raj Bhavan Governor Bandaru Dattatraya said that teachers have an important role in improving the lives of students and they could have influence as role models for students by establishing discipline, dedication and ideals.The Governor said that education was not just about teaching, it’s what remains after teaching. It’s about developing the child’s thinking skills and making them ready to chisel their bright career and also help in contributing to the growth of the nation. He said that coaching institutions for a long time were instrumental in helping the students realize their aspirations. Many of them credit their teachers and coaching institutions in helping them to reach great heights utilizing the knowledge imparted to them, he added.He said that many poor students realize their dream and the ladder connecting them to their dreams was education. He congratulated CFI to come out with the social initiative in terms of educating the poor students and helping them realize their dreams. He said that “SAATHI HAATH BADHANA” was an excellent social initiative of CFI particularly when it was focussed towards those who were struggling for want of enough resources and yet passionate about making a mark in their career. He said that by providing free training to 1000 students was commendable. 

He added that in vernacular medium retention would be maximum and National Education Policy-2020 also emphasized on the need of educating in vernacular medium.The Governor expressed happiness that the digital revolution in the school education and coaching domain was coming true through the CFI and Pedagogy Android Application to deliver the courses to the remotest part of our country and also empower small and medium-sized coaching institutions by giving them free Technological environment to deliver their online and recorded classes, conduct tests and deliver assignments. This would help the institutes sail through the current pandemic and also help the student community get hassle-free online lectures with the best of technology.He said that on-line learning would help not just through this pandemic but also would be promising in future and it would help quality education to reach every nook and corner of the country.“India is a young country and the potential of youth if realized properly we will be a world leader in no time. Technology will have a great role in Skilling India and Educating India”, said the Governor.President Coaching Federation of India Mrityunjay R Narayanan welcomed the Governor.General Secretary CFI Krishna Chaitanya Kasula detailed various activities of the federation.Advisor Odisha Adarsh Vidyalya Sangathan Dr. Bijaya Kumar,   Ex-Indian Cricketer & CAC Member R.P. Singh and other members of CFI  were also present in the Curtain Raiser of the “Saathi Haath Badhana”.
