Balbir Singh Sidhu dispensed the grants of worth more than Rs 11 lakh

Cheques of worth Rs 11 lakh have been given to the Panchayats of villages Dharamgarh and Chaumajra

In order to make the development works more aggressive in the villages of Mohali constituency, Minister of Health and family welfare and labour, Punjab, S. Balbir Singh Sidhu has dispensed the cheques of worth Rs. 11 Lakh and ten thousand. S. Sidhu said, "The development work of the villages is on his top priorities over any other matters". Further he said, "His main aim is to make villages of Mohali an example for others. And for this aim funds of worth of crores have already been dispensed in the villages of Mohali constituency. The efforts are being made to provide all the facilities whether it is about education or health in the villages. The numerous works of development has been completed in the constituency and the ongoing projects will also be completed in stipulated time". He said that he is committed to provide all the facilities to the villages.While giving the details, advisor of health minister and Chairman of market Committee Kharar, Sri Harkesh Chand Sharma said that, from his discretionary quota S. Sidhu gave a cheque of Rs 2 lakh and 80 thousand to the Panchayat of village Dharamgarh, Out of which 2 lakh rupees will be spent for the street lights, while Rs 80,000 will be spent to buy a water tanker. A cheque of worth Rs 4 lakh and 80 thousand has been given to the chaumajra Panchayat. The allocated money will be used to make the streets with paver blocks and to buy a water Tanker.  A cheque of worth Rs 3 Lakh and 50,000 has also been given to the Panchayat of village Patton. The allocated grant will be used to set up a hand pump and benches in Crematorium.
