The Block Diwas today witnessed immense response from the public in all 11 blocks of the district here.During the programme officers and officials from line departments remained abuzz and listened to issues, grievances and demands of people for on spot redressal besides organizing awareness, registration and distribution programme.On the eve, eligible persons were also enrolled under individual beneficiary schemes and social security schemes besides, distribution of various certificates that include Domicile, RBA, Income and OBC and distribution of job cards was also carried out.Meanwhile to take first hand appraisal of public grievances and demands, the Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat visited Block Pahaloo, where he presided over a mega function organized in connection with the Block Devas.On the occasion he also kick started the Ghar pravesh programme of beneficiaries who were covered under PMAY scheme and distributed blankets among these beneficiaries.The DC also listened to issues, grievances and demands of the people for their redressal and distributed several certificates including, Domicile, RBA, Income, OBC certificates besides, Job cards among the applicants.Among others, ACD/DPO, Mohammad Imran khan and other officers and officials from all line departments were present on the occasion besides, BDC Pahaloo, PRI's and a large number of people participated in the programme.Later, the DC also visited Block Damhal besides other blocks and complimented the participants urging them to come forward and avail benefits of the programme.He also reiterated that administration is committed to deliver public services effectively and efficiently.
