Pratibha Singh stresses to expand Red Cross activites

Former Member of Parliament and Chairperson, HP Red Cross Hospital Welfare Section, Smt. Pratibha Singh has stressed the need to involve more and more people with Red Cross activities to make it on mass moment in the State.She was presiding over the first meeting of the HP Red Cross Hospital Welfare Section, here today. She said that Red Cross was rendering valuable services to the poor and needy people of the society. 

She said that efforts should be made to increase its members and educate the people about its activities. She also appealed the people to contribute liberally towards Red Cross.The new body of the Red Cross welfare section was also constituted during the meeting. Secretary to the Governor and General Secretary of the Red Cross Society Smt. Anita Tegta, Secretary, Shri P.S. Rana and other members were also present in the meeting.
