Forest, Youth Services and Sports Minister Rakesh Pathania while presiding over the virtual rally of the beneficiaries of Dalhousie constituency under different government schemes through video conference from Shimla here today said that the government has started different developmental and welfare schemes which are benefitting the people of the State directly.He said that houses for 767 families in Dalhousie constituency have been approved under this scheme and subsidy of Rs. 1.50 lakh is being provided for each beneficiary for the construction of house. He said that 220 persons of Dalhousie constituency have got benefitted from Prime Minister Awas Yojna in which subsidy of Rs. 1.50 is being provided.Minister said that 690 beneficiaries of the area have been registered through Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board under which an additional allowance of Rs. 2000 has been provided. As many as 898 families of this area have got the benefit of Prime Minister Ujjwala Yojna. Apart from this, 3,893 households have been provided free LPG gas connection under Himachal Grihini Suvidha Yojna.He said that the 6323 farmers of Dalhousie are being provided Rs. 6000 every year for the purchase of fertilisers and pesticides under Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna. Under Jal Jeevan Mission, 3527 families of the area are getting benefitted.He said that 165 families of this constituency have been provided respite from Mukhya Mantri Relief Fund. Similarly, 447 persons under Ayushman Yojna of the Central Government and 654 persons under Himcare Yojna have been benefitted in which there is provision of free treatment up to five lakh rupees. As many as 225 people of the area have taken the benefits of agricultural schemes like Prime Minister Krishi Sinchayee Yojna and Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojna. Under Prime Minister Jan Dhan Yojna, 434 beneficiaries have been registered in which there is provision of accidental insurance of Rs. two lakh on a premium of Rs. 12.Chairman, Marketing Committee District Chamba DS Thakur, Chamba BJP President Yog Raj Thakur, Dalhousie Block President Vijay Thakur, SDM Salooni Kiran Bhadana, SDM Dalhousie Jagan Thakur, BDO Salooni Indu Bala, BDO Bhatiyat Basheer Khan and other dignitaries were also present on this occasion.
