DC Directs Officials To Minimize Pendency In E-Court Management System

Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori today said that in order to facilitate the people, the officials must ensure to minimize the pendency of the court cases.Chairing a meeting at the District Administrative Complex, the Deputy Commissioner said that the Punjab government initiated Revenue Court Management System (RCMS) to facilitate management and monitoring of Court Cases pertaining to Revenue Courts. He said that this system was designed specifically for all Revenue Courts in the state, which include Financial Commissioner, Divisional Commissioner, Director Land Records, Deputy Commissioner, SDM, Tehsildar and Naib Tehsildars courts.Mr Thori said E-court management system had the details of properties under litigation from the land record database along with Petitioners and Respondents adding that besides generation of summoning notices, the system automatically generates date-wise cause-list of different courts, which was available to citizens as well. The Deputy Commissioner said that all case related documents including interim orders, final judgments and others were uploaded through this system.He told the officials to must ensure that sustained efforts must be made to no case remains pending beyond a year. He said that the service of required record must be prompt so as to ensure that the public was facilitated by timely disposal.Deputy Commissioners asked the officials to further streamline the system of pendency of the different files in various branches of their offices.He said that system was a boon for the citizens as they could access details of any case along with case status from the portal for which no credentials or registration was required.Mr. Thori said that this system used to give online information to the public in their revenue related cases and they could view the status of their cases, cause list, detail of property under litigation on a single click. 

On the occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner Mr Vishesh Sarangal, Mr. Jasbir Singh, Sub Divisional Magistrates Mr. Rahul Sindhu, Mr Gautam Jain, Mr. Sanjeev Sharma, Mr. Vineet Kumar and Dr. Jai Inder Singh, District Revenue Officer Mr. Jashanjit Singh and others were also present.
