DC Ganderbal urges for punctuality, effective delivery of services to public

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal today urged upon the officers and officials to ensure punctuality and effective delivery of services to the public visiting their offices.He made these remarks during a meeting to review the functioning of all departments operating from the Mini Secretariat Ganderbal.The meeting also discussed various issues pertaining to sanitation, cleanliness of the offices besides punctuality of the employees working in the government offices of the district.Taking strong note of the absenteeism of employees, the DC said that the district administration shall take stringent action against absenteeism to ensure smooth functioning of government departments and prompt deliverance of services to the people.Reiterating the district administration’s commitment for better public service delivery and zero tolerance policy for absenteeism, DC exhorted upon the district officers to ensure all employees working in their offices remain punctual and warned that no laxity on their part towards their duties will be tolerated.

The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba, Chief Planning Officer, ACR besides all district and sectoral officers of the district.
