Eid-ul-Adha arrangements reviewed in Shopian

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Chaudhry Mohammad Yasin today reviewed the arrangements put in place for ensuing Eid-ul- Adha.While addressing the meeting, the DC directed the concerned officers to ensure availability of essential commodities and sacrificial animals to the general public besides providing uninterrupted drinking water facility and power supply during the festive occasion.He also directed the officers to take strict action against black marketers, hoarders and erring shopkeepers  besides those involved in violating COVID-19 related SOPs  and guidelines issued by the Govt. from time to time.The DC also directed officers of Municipal Committee to take care of cleanliness in and around the Jamia Masjid, main town and streets of Shopian district.Among others the meeting was attended by SDM Zainapora and other concerned officers and officials.
