District Police solves blind murder case, Nabs 3 accused

The newly established Punjab Bureau of Investigation, SAS Nagar achieved its 2nd major success with the tracing of blind murder of Sham Singh. An FIR no. 134, Dated 29/10.19 in this regard was registered U/S 302, 34 IPC PS Phase-11 SAS Nagar. As per the guidance and instructions of I.G. Amit Parsad (Inspector General of Police Roopnagar Zone) and SSP Kuldeep Singh Chahal, the Superintendent of Police (PBI) Harbir Singh Atwal, along with his team of DSP (Homicide & Forensics) Palwinder Singh, SI Kulwant Singh, SI Jagdeep Singh Brar SHO Phase-11 SAS Nagar after intense investigation succeeded in apprehending the culprits namely Gajram S/o Sita Ram R/o Majatri PS Sadar Kharar, Satvir alias Satta  S/o  Garandi R/o baghora PS Mahalpur Distt Hoshiarpur and Mahavir Singh S/o Prem Pal R/o  Amb Saheb Colony Phase-11.The preliminary investigation revealed that the three had seen Sham Singh carrying a substantial amount of money and thereby conspired to murder Sham Singh and snatch his money. The mobile phone of the deceased Sham Singh has been recovered from the accused and further investigation is in progress.
