DDC Kulgam reviews functioning of ICDS

District Development Commissioner Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat, today convened a meeting of officers to review the status of ICDS Schemes.During the meeting, the DDC reviewed Poshan Abhiyan, PMMVY and other programmes of ICDS.The District Programme Officer informed the DDC that presently 1208 Aganwadi centers are functional in the district and during the lockdown period 2481 quintal ration was distributed among registered beneficiaries.It was also given out that under PM-MVY Rs 13.9 lacs were disbursed among beneficiaries up to April 2020 through DBT mode.Later masks and sanitizers were provided to CDPO's which will be distributed by them among frontline workers to combat COVID-19.The meeting was attended by ADDC, ADC, DPO, JD-planning CDPOs and other concerned officers.
