Mission Fateh : Recovered coronavirus patients, cops, panchayats, youth clubs sensitise people against COVID-19

Panchayats, youth clubs, shopkeeper associations, NGOs shows support to Mission Fateh by passing resolutions

The people who defeated Coronavirus, panchayats and youth clubs among other organisations joined hands with the district police to make the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh’s flagship campaign “Mission Fateh” a mass movement in Mansa.Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mansa Dr Narinder Bhargav, who launched the campaign on Saturday morning by conducting various activities in every nook and corner of the district said that Mission Fateh has been set in motion in the district Mansa.He said that in this important event, all the 241 panchayats, representatives of 85 city wards of the district, youth clubs and office bearers of trade organisations along with the 35 patients who recovered from the Covid-19 have acted as Mission Warriors. “In this way state of Punjab is on the path of defeating this pandemic in the proficient command of our Chief Minister. District Mansa is also among the top of those districts which has successfully contained this pandemic so far,” he said. He said that panchayat unions, shopkeeper associations, NGOs and youth clubs of the district passed a resolution to support Punjab Government’s Mission Fateh campaign by spreading awareness among people against COVID-19. He said that the police have also distributed over 3200 masks to the general public.SSP Dr Bhargav said that pamphlets and badges have been distributed and the banners have been pasted on conspicuous places in the district through SHOs and Village/Police Officers (VPOs) to sensitise the public of Mansa. He asked district residents to strictly adhere to the safety protocols and restrictions to save themselves and their families from the COVID-19. SSP Mansa also appealed the residents of the district to use simple preventive measures like wearing masks, maintaining social distances, washing/sanitising hands and not leaving their houses without any exigency in future also.Dr Bhargav thanking the people of Mansa for their positive response towards this “Mission Fateh”, solicited further support of district residents to defeat this pandemic.Meanwhile, as many as 8973 people in the district have downloaded the COVA Punjab application in their mobile phones.
