DC Rajouri gives away certificates to newly formed body of Press Club Rajouri

Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Nazir Sheikh today gave away the certificates to the newly formed body of Press Club Rajouri here at a simple yet impressive event organized.

Additional SP Rajouri Liaquat Chowdhary, DySP Headquarters Rajouri Surinder Khadyar were also present at the programme organized under the chairmanship of newly elected Chairman Arif Qureshi and President Avinash Jasyal.The DC presented certificates to all the members of the newly elected body.Gagan Kohli and Qayoom Lone were elected as Vice Presidents, while Shakti Sharma was elected as  General Secretary Administration, Umar Malik as General Secretary Finance,  Jamsheed Malik, Secretary,  Emroz Suri   Legal Advisor, Sanjay Bali as Organizing Secretary, Sushil Dutta as Joint Secretary,  Imran Khan Manager and Rakesh Tara as a cashier.Apart from this, senior journalist Virender Malhotra has been appointed as the Chief Advisor of Press Club along with Jabar Chaudhary while Amish Malhotra and Abid Malik were elected as members of advisory committee.Tazeem Dar was appointed the chief spokesperson of Rajouri Press Club while Ravi Verma was appointed as spokesperson of press club Rajouri.Pertinent to mention here that a new managing committee of  Press Club Rajouri was also formed in which Sumit Bhargav was elected as Convener and Vishal Sharma as secretary.The managing committee shall frame all the policies for club to give it a new shape in future.The Club also formed a disciplinary committee with  Tazeem Malik as Chairman and Bal Krishan Sharma was elected as secretary of the  committee.Deputy Commissioner Rajouri while addressing the media person said that he is confident that Press Club Rajouri's new body would work to further strengthen Press Club and will live up to the expectations of the people.He said to be hopeful that like the past, the press club will raise the issues concerning the general public.
