COVID-19: BDC Chairperson hands over Ventilator to GMC Rajouri

In an effort to further augment health infrastructure in the district in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic, BDC Chairperson, Javed Iqbal Choudhary, on behalf of Block Development Council Budhal Old, on Saturday handed over a German-made Ventilator to Medical Superintendent  Government Medical College and Associated Hospitals in presence of Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Nazir Sheikh’ Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sher Singh, DSEO, Bilal Mir and Nodal Officer COVID Control Room, Dr.Javid were also present on the occasion.Javid Iqbal Chowdhary informed that the Ventilator has been provided by the Youth Progressive Initiative organisation to cater to the needs of the patients amid COVID-19.Deputy Commissioner appreciated he organization for this humane gesture and hoped that it would help to ease pressure on GMC&AH due to Coronavirus.
