Mission Fateh : 2475 ration packets distributed under ‘ Atam Nirbhar Bharat’ in SAS Nagar

The ‘Atam Nirbhar Bharat Scheme’ that has been kickstarted in the district with a view to provide food packets to the migrant workers/labourers, keeping with the objectives of the Mission Fateh initiative, is going on smoothly in the district.The laborers have been identified with the support of Industries and Labour Department and distribution is on, informed Deputy Commissioner Mr. Girish Dayalan and added that as of now, 2475 packets have been distributed to the labourers at various brick kilns in the district including Modern Brick kiln, Garg brick kiln Banur and Kalgidhar Brick Kiln in Lalru .Pertinently, each ration packet contains 10 Kg atta, 1 Kg Black Chana and 1 Kg of Sugar. He informed that unlike other schemes, the benefit of the scheme is also being given to those who don’t have a local ration card, only aadhar card details are being recorded to prevent duplicacy.
