District administration Rajouri leaving no stone unturned to facilitate local populace

Online portal launched for receiving applications of domicile certificate at tehsil Thanamandi

In the period of Coronavirus crises when the whole world is in distress and Governments across the world are issuing advisories and taking strict preventive measures to ensure  that people do not come out of their houses and the chain of coronavirus spread is broken. It becomes important that the basic services should be provided to the common  masses at their doorsteps to restrict their movement amid COVID19 for the larger public interest.As a part of good governance and with the aim to mitigate the sufferings of the  common masses amid COVID19, the district administration Rajouri has taken a number of measures for the public welfare keeping in view their daily needs and concerted efforts  are being made to ensure that the people do not feel any inconvenience in getting the basic facilities during this period of lockdown.Continuing the endeavors of the district  administration to ensure the delivery of basic facilities at the doorsteps of the general public to avoid their rush in tehsil office and also to provide them with best possible  assistance so that no problem is faced by the masses concerning their works in tehsil office, the Tehsildar Thanamandi, Anjum Khan under the guidance of the Deputy  Commissioner Rajouri, Mohammad Nazir Sheikh has launched an online portal for receiving the applications of domicile certificate in tehsil Thanamandi.Tehsildar Anjum Khan  said those persons who are in need of domicile certificate can submit the form online on https://forms.gle/UHRJuJ6j8yHxeND57 and visit the tehsil office after seven days with the  original documents including Permanent Resident Certificate, Ration card, Aadhar Card and two photographs to get their domicile certificates.The public has welcomed and  lauded this step taken by the district administration and said that the inconvenience faced by them due to their regular visits to tehsil complex has reduced as now the  government services are being provided to them at their doorsteps. They thanked the administration for taking these types of initiatives for the public welfare and suggested that  the government should continue to take such steps to mitigate their sufferings during the Corona virus pandemic.
