DDC Rajouri discusses Pre-District Capex Budget

District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Mohammad Nazir Sheikh on Thursday held a detailed pre-Capex Budget 2020-21discussions at DC office Complex Rajouri.While speaking during the meeting, the DDC asked the concerned officers to incorporate the outcome based projects with specific nomenclature in the plan. He also directed the Officers to incorporate only those projects in the plan the work on which can be completed within this financial year. He also directed the concerned officers to maintain interdepartmental coordination and avoid overlapping of the works.Regarding the Education sector, he asked the concerned officer to keep the provision of books, uniforms in the plan and lay special focus on the augmentation of the already existing infrastructure to cater the needs of the students and formulate plans for the construction of additional classrooms where there is the utmost need for the same.About the health sector, he instructed the concerned officer to make suitable plans for the augmentation of already existing health infrastructure so that the demands of the public for better health services can be fulfilled.

The DDC exhorted upon the concerned officers to prioritize works under the District Capex Budget so that said works can be completed within the shortest possible time. He further directed that there should be a hundred per cent physical verification of the projects.
