Mohali bids farewell to migrants and welcomes natives abroad on the same day

In one of its own kind situation, Mohali bid farewell to migrants and welcomes natives stranded abroad on the same day. The District welcomed back 100 Indians from USA at Mohali, including 61 Punjabis at the International Airport while sent as many as 1600 migrant workers to Saharsa Station in Bihar today from the Mohali Railway Station. Migrant workers were extended warm send off by the District Administration. As per the protocol, the migrant workers were duly screened. The migrant population going back to their native places especially the children expressed deepest gratitude to the District Administration for providing them food, water, biscuits, Chips and making elaborate preparations for their journey back home.
