Two CRPF officers posted in Kashmir, commit suicide

Two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) officers committed suicide by pumping bullets into their bodies with their service rifles in Kashmir Valley. One incident occurred in Srinagar while another in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district. Sub-Inspector GD Fateh Singh (851290185) S/o Eidan Singh of Rajisthan Battalion of CRPF shot himself with his Insas weapon at Akrun Mattan area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, said an official to KNT. The official added that in a separate incident an Assistant Sub-Inspector of CRPF Bangali Babu (921110873) aged about 47 Years of Madhya Pradesh of F/49 Battalion located at Neelam Cinema Karan Nagar also shots self to death.He said the officer was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Police have registered a case and set investigation into motion. (KNT)
