The District Administration officials on Monday joined the police in the support of support of Sub Inspector Harjeet Singh, whose hand was chopped off in a murderous attack by curfew violators in Patiala on April 12 outside the vegetable market. Sub Divisional Magistrates Mr Rahul Sindhu, Dr Jai Inder Singh along with ADPC-1 Ms D Sudarvizhi, ACP Mr Harsimrat Singh carried the placards #MainBhiHarjeetSingh in their hands and salute to the braveheart Harjeet Singh.  They said that by the campaign was aimed against any kind of attacks on policemen, doctors and healthcare workers across India who were engaged in the fight against COVID-19 and to create awareness against such attacks.Similarly, Secretary RTA Mr Barjinder Singh also changed his name with Harjeet Singh on the name plates in his office as a salute to the courageous police man who risked his life during the Curfew duty. He said that every Punjabi would ever remain indebted to the brave cop, who performed his duty valiantly during the Covid 19 crisis. Mr Barjinder Singh further said that it was bounden duty of every individual to express solidarity with such brave hearts.
