DC And CP Enquires Well Being Of On Duty Covid Warriors Outside Containment Zones

Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Varinder Kumar Sharma and Commissioner of Police Mr Gurpreet Singh Bhullar today enquired the well being of on-duty police COVID warriors,  outside the containment zones in the city. During the flag march in the city today, the Deputy Commissioner and Commissioner of Police reached the Jail Chowk and old Sabji  Mandi and met on-duty cops.They asked them about whether they were facing any problem in rendering their duties. They also talked with them about the diet provided to them,  was being given timely besides availability of water, soap, masks, sanitizers, etc.They also sought suggestion from the cops regarding how the things could be further  streamlined in the district.They also asked about the situations in these containment zones whether the delivery of essential items is being ensured to the people here. Further,  they asked them to inform PCR immediately if they saw any people outside their homes in these areas so that action could be taken accordingly.Meanwhile, both the officers also  exhorted the people to stay inside their houses through ‘self home quarantine’ and contribute immensely in the war against COVID-19 pandemic.The Deputy Commissioner and  Commissioner of Police said the administration was duty-bound to implement the curfew strictly in the district. They asked the people to support the administration for this noble  cause.Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner and Commissioner of Police conducted the flag march at Judicial Court Complex Chowk, BMC Chowk, Namdev Chowk, Sri Ram  (Nehru Garden) Chowk, Bhagwan Valmiki (Jyoti) Chowk, Basti Adda Chowk, Jail Chowk, Patel Chowk and nearby areas.
